HOSPITAL IMPACT: Economic Data Released | Health

According to the 2013 Economic Impact of the Health Sector in Iowa, Skiff Medical Center provides a large economic boost to the whole area.

Over 350 employees earn nearly $22-million spending nearly $7 million of that in retail. With 6% sales tax, that adds over $400,000 to the coffers.

Skiff Medical Center is a standalone, not-for-profit organization. It is owned by the city of Newton.
